Dr. Paulo has a remarkable track record of industry and academic experience in education, with more than 15 years of teaching experience at the University of Lisbon and a long-time participation in the Técnico+ course on Privacy and Security. This experience is underlined by more than 50 MSc students advised, 60 scientific publications and two edited books. He has also been the Principal Investigator of several research projects and a speaker at academic and industry events.

He is also a Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and holds several other highly regarded and hard-to-obtain security and privacy certifications, including ISO 27701 Information Privacy Management, ISO 27001 Information Security Management, and (ISC)² Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP).

Andrée's proven technical expertise is evidenced by his prestigious certifications, including the (ISC)² Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Information Privacy Management (CIPM) certifications. Throughout his career, he has also mentored new professionals, guiding them to successful cybersecurity careers, and developed innovative, widely acclaimed cybersecurity workshops.

After successfully completing his Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Andrée decided to complement his technical background with a post-graduate degree in Computer Science with a focus on software engineering and networking. This specialized knowledge later proved to be his springboard into the world of cybersecurity.
